Who we are ?

ZO (Zara Ombonana) is a humanitarian association, engaged in charitable actions and the defense of the fundamental rights of all disadvantaged people and particularly in the prison environment.

The ZO association was founded in 2002 and was officially incorporated in 2013. At the beginning, 20 people of good will responded to the invigorating call of its founder.

In many prisons of the Boeny region, social actions and a lot of voluntary work have been carried out during the 16 years of presidency of RASOARIMALALANIRINA Bodomanitra who is also the founder of the association.

In 2018 until today, PELITERA José has taken over the direction of the Association and has worked to revitalize the many charitable actions in the prison environment that once shaped the existence of the Zo ASSOCIATION.
